a simple maths problem kan? just find the volume, then divide it with the volume flow rate (in this case, its velocity of water flowing in multiply by the area there) and voila! you got the time...

but no.. in uni... u have to do it intellectually.. hence... you got these steps...

but anyway, i learned today that S16's level 4 leads to S11's level 3.. ok tak penting..

but my maths's tutor/lecturer (same guy) very funny.. he said, we (all us poly studens need to take his Maths bridging module) confirm can do the maths problems he gives us...

our admittance to NUS already showed that we are smart.. he mentioned that in the newspaper, got many parents complain about their childeren A-level results ok ok tapi still tak dapat masuk.. and NUS just take 15% budak poly je...

some shouted back, "the rest didnt apply (for admission to uni)".. lol.. but in my heart it was something like.. "we are just RELATIVELY smarter than the rest of poly students je"... hehe.. if you get my drift...

then he made a joke.. he never give us assignments nor labs nor projects, just exercises for us to do in our own free time.. for our own good... our passing/failure doesnt really affect him.. he said, his salary is NOT a function of our performance... hahah maths joke...
